Today was cold and overcast, but I soldiered on and went to nearby Trees and Trails to shoot winter flower macros outside the garden center. That was going okay, but I decided to hike the trail, then noticed White-throated Sparrows everywhere, particularly in the brambles. I asked God for at least one good pic since they are so skittish. He delivered, so thank You. I had a choice between this shot, or an American Robin bathing in a puddle. I chose the Sparrow because it's a winter migrant for our area. I can try for the Robin bathing another day.
