24/366 | Sweetgum Ball

Today was a bright, sunny day so I took the Canon M50 mirrorless on my walk. What a welcome relief from lugging around the 5D Mark III beast! The M50 does very well in bright light, but there's still that annoying delay after taking a shot. Those few seconds it takes the camera to recover causes some missed opportunities. Not a dealbreaker, but I am looking forward to advances in the mirrorless line. It was also a breezy day, so it seemed a good time to capture the Sweetgum fruit lying on the ground. I laid on my stomach, ignoring any passersby, and shot this. Afterwards, I noticed what looks like a bird beak poking out. Do you see it? :)
