I never tire of photographing the Bluebirds. Our yard has become a sanctuary for dozens and dozens of these vividly blue, beautiful creatures. As soon as I fill the mealworm feeders and put fresh water in the bird bath, they come. And I watch with glee and an indescribable joy. Sometimes they let me know it's meal time by perching above empty feeders, looking toward the French door. You'd think they'd let me get close to them, sit on my shoulder perhaps...yeah, I'm dreaming now for sure! They love my feeding them, but I must admire them from a distance.
