I met the owner of this home on my daily walk last week and she gave me permission to take this picture and publish it. Out of concern for their privacy and the violent nature of some in the political landscape, I blurred out the house number and the name that was above their door. I told her it was admirable and brave to so publicly support the President. She said they were worried their house might be vandalized, but even if it was, and even if the flag was destroyed or stolen, they had extras ready to put out. So sad it's come to this.
We had a long talk about the condition of our country, the sadness we feel, along with hopelessness and stress. Both of us vowed to pray for God to be returned to our homes, schools, governments and institutions. It's not hard to see that wickedness and corruption is increasing globally.
Praying for the country this election day, and have been all year. We also must pray for our enemies to repent before it's too late.
A just king gives stability to his nation,
but one who demands bribes destroys it.
