35/366 | White Ibis in Live Oak

This morning I had a short window of decent light, about an hour, so I drove to LSU Lakes. Got some good looks at a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, but he was faster than my camera's focusing mechanism. Sigh. I was disappointed with my attempts at shooting a domestic Mallard cross, an American Coot and a Mockingbird, but decided to settle. Just as I was leaving to go home I noticed a White Ibis sitting one-legged on a Live Oak limb. I'm only 35 days into my project and already have three Ibises. Oh well! I am a sucker for blue eyes.
