Today I finally finished planting what I purchased from the nursery earlier in the week: two varieties of dahlia and milkweed. Since I had already photographed the dahlia this week, I tried to get other subjects such as our redbud tree blooms, an insect, bottlebrush macro, and other things around the yard. The dahlias are just so beautiful, I couldn't resist another photo. Especially after seeing it in the ground with water drops. Listening to a podcast on the Black Dahlia killer, I thought, 'Well, why not use the dahlia and do it in black and white?' So, voila!
