Last summer I planted a small sprig of bright pink verbena at the edge of the patio bed. Since we've had a mild winter it has spread quite a bit and is spilling over the rock's edge. The shade of pink in reality is way too intense, so I toned it down with a Preset in Lightroom called "Aged Photo." Then I pulled it into PS for a little cloning, and removed a woody spike that was drawing attention away from the blooms. Another bonus with this plant is that it prevents weeds. Thus, I planted two more in red. A really lovely addition to the flower bed discovered quite by accident. You never know what is going to thrive in a particular area.
