Yesterday I was feeling restless, so I took a drive out to the country where I spent most of my childhood. The drive helped clear my head, but I lacked the energy to post anything. A variety of subjects presented themselves, but the one I chose as Photo of the Day was the most unusual. A blonde pony sitting in a field of yellow wildflowers. Out of all the things I shot, I figured this is the one I likely won't see again. I'm sure the property owner will be mowing soon, or the cows and horses will eat the flowers. Good news is I have several things in mind to go back and shoot, including the ruins of a haunted plantation with an interesting history. Stay tuned!
