154/366 | Coreopsis tinctoria

It is getting HOT here in South Louisiana! The wildflower field at Hilltop Arboretum has grown taller and thicker just in the last week. Tickseed aka Coreopsis tinctoria is especially thriving. It has yellow petals with maroon centers. The stems are whisper thin. I rather liked the black and white version of this image.

I love the black and white version! Great contrast! And I'm so glad I have your blog address now. It's bookmarked. If you change again, please let me know! :)
