Also known as Celosia spicata or Flamingo cockscomb, this is an annual plant for our zone (9), though is a perennial year-round in zones 10 and 11. These are quite dazzling, adding vivid color and interesting texture to any flower bed. Something to think about for next spring. These were growing at Burden Gardens in Baton Rouge.
