161/366 | Great Egret Knee Deep
Word on the street is that Tropical Storm Cristobal blew in Frigatebirds and Sooty Terns, with some landing at LSU Lakes. I made two passes around all the lakes and could not find them. I even drove over to Capitol Lakes and struck out there. I shot a Bronzed Cowbird on a signpost, but didn't like it enough to post. So here is a Great Egret cautiously fishing with me sitting on the bank. A Red-eared slider poked his head up as if to say, 'Hey, what up?'
