Today's photoshoot did not go at all as planned. I found out that the sunflower fields were in full bloom at Burden Gardens, so I went out around 10AM this morning with the new camera. The heat and humidity were unbearable and I think I lost a couple pounds. The light was better today, though.
When I returned home I still needed to get my steps in, so off I went. At the end of the main boulevard, I noticed a passion flower vine. Someone told me a few weeks ago to look for them, and today there were two beautiful blooms. So I had to scrap the sunflowers and go with this since their blooms only last one day. Tomorrow I'll try again for the sunflowers and hope the rain stays away.
On a side note, I put in the wrong time when I set up the new camera. I turned the dial to 8 since it was 8:00 in the evening, but I should've put in 20 (12+8). I wondered why it didn't ask me for AM or PM. All the pics I took today and yesterday have the wrong date. I edited the metadata in Lightroom, but it won't let me change the "Date Time Digitized" section. Grrrrr
