Mondays are always a challenge when it comes time for this project because it's my designated chore day. Add rain to the equation and it usually spells disaster. I managed a walk this morning before the rains came and thought I'd use some wild berries photographed with my phone. But the wind was gusting and the images were all blurry. I shot this from my back door, through glass. A little House Finch lifting off a decorative planter. So sad, but this is the best of the few shots out of 12 taken.
Tomorrow I leave for Mississippi for a week. My dad says they have four Ruby-throated Hummingbirds regularly visiting. Hope I get lucky!
