Photo of 8/18. I was too tired and headache-y to post yesterday. I spent most of the day outdoors at the arboretum and doing my steps so the heat zapped my energy quick. I'm so ready for FALL, y'all!
The American Beautyberry, also known as Callicarpa americana is a native shrub located in the southern United States. Birds and deer feast on the "pearls" thus distributing the seeds. Guess who wants one for their yard? You only get one guess. :)
