Storms are headed our way due to several disturbances in the Caribbean. But this morning we were blessed with a beautiful blue sky and puffy white clouds. Wanting to take advantage of the wide angle lens rental, I headed for St. Joseph's Cathedral. Due to Corona, downtown is fairly deserted and the place I needed to stand had two sketchy men sitting on benches. Last week a little boy was shot and killed downtown, so with that on my mind, I took my shots hastily and scurried back to the car.
There are too many other buildings around the cathedral which detracts from this grand structure, so I concentrated on a side door and did a "color isolate red" in Lightroom. I know that is considered out of fashion now, but I still like it for certain shots.
