The pentas planted in the spring, that looked pretty haggard at the end of August, are now in full bloom. They are so full and filled with life, their perky star-shaped flowers atop tender pink stems. With my macro lens I spied several different insects living inside and resting on the petals. However, the wind gave me heck, so none of the bugs were in focus. I didn't have a lot of time to spend on photography today, so once again, I'm settling for a mediocre shot. Though I was envious of a bug's life for a moment.
